| | It was a fine Sunday morning. Darling decided to go on a 1 day trip to Pulau Ketam with me, his aunt, cousin and our friend, David.
We took off at the Port Klang Jetty.
Meet our photographer of the day - David.
The Crowded Traditional Wooden Ferry
Mother nature is beautiful.
That's me, enjoying the scenery~ (I was hoping to see crocodiles but that's impossible =X)
A picture of my boy and I
Mama & Che Che
Are we there yet?
Pulau Ketam is a small island located off the south-western coast of Malaysia in the Straits of Malacca. It took us around 45-50 minutes to get there.
People here mostly travel by boat or bicycle. You won't be able to see any petrol station for land transportation here. The residents here are 99% Chinese.
Lunch time~
"Sai tou" Fish Ball Soup
Buttered Prawn which I can't really taste the butter.
Ginger Wine "Lala"
Steamed Fish
Vegetable which was very oily =.=
The food was ok ok only.
Longan Pudding for dessert
Since it's a Chinese Village, you can find a lot of Chinese temples here.
Guan Yin Niang Niang
It was very hot to travel by foot even with umbrella. What cute headbands!
We went to buy one each too
Ok, very funny David. Stop laughing!
Adjusted. It looks better now =X
A view of the village.
Funny shaped papayas.
Spot the mudfish and the crab.
We were sweating! So we stopped for Ice Kacang.
It was nearly 4pm. Time to head back. This aunty was singing over the megaphone.
She has this hysterical laugh which made David's arm hair stand
A floating company.
We reached back to Port Klang Jetty around 6pm, before going for bakuteh dinner in Klang.
Overall, it was quite an enjoyable trip
